2. What benefits can I receive from Aerolase?
The benefits that you will see depend on the type and severity of the skin issue that is being treated. If you are looking for a solution to your acne, then you will likely see a reduction in both the frequency of the breakouts and the severity. For those looking to eliminate any spots or vasculature, you can look forward to more clear beautiful skin with no downtime.
3. How does Aerolase work?
Aerolase uses a gentle and highly effective laser that is able to penetrate more deeply than other lasers and address any issues in the sebaceous glands and surrounding tissues. The laser does not touch the skin so you won’t need to worry about any excess warmth or discomfort, which is why no anesthesia is required
4.What should I expect during the treatment?
Prior to your session, you can expect a few medical-grade photographs to be taken of the area that will be treated. During the procedure, you might experience a warm sensation or minor discomfort. You will be provided with protective eyewear by the clinic. Make sure to thoroughly clean your face prior to the treatment as there should be no makeup, lotions, or sunscreens present to ensure the best results.
5. Are there any side effects?
As with any medical treatment, there are potential side effects that can be discussed with your medical practitioner when you schedule your consultation. Most side effects, such as redness in the treated area, are minimal and will resolve shortly after your session.
6.How many treatments will I need?
Depending on the condition of your skin, you may need several treatments, which are typically spaced one to four weeks apart.. Typically, results appear after three treatments, with enhanced skin clarity showing after each subsequent treatment.
7. Is there downtime involved with Aerolase?
One of the best aspects of receiving Aerolase treatments is that there is absolutely no downtime required. You are free to return to your normal daily activities as soon as your session is complete. If you plan on being outdoors after your laser treatment, however, you should make sure to wear sunscreen. There are no needles, anesthesia, or downtime involved with this specific cosmetic procedure.
