Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Eyelash Tinting?

A: Eyelash tinting is a process where your eyelashes are dyed to make them look darker. Depending on your skin type and hair color, you can achieve eyelash colors, including black, blue, shades of brown, grey or whatever color best fits your complexion.

It’s great for women who lead a very active life but can’t live without mascara or want that made up look before even getting out of bed!!! It’s a perfect solution to giving you dark, tantalizing eyes without having to apply layers of mascara.

Q: Who is it for?

A: Eyelash tinting will benefit people that are sensitive to make-up, people who are active in sports (especially swimming) and people who have no time to apply make-up daily. This process is also ideal for people who wear contact lenses because they don’t have to suffer putting on mascara any longer.

Q: Is Eyelash Tinting Dangerous?

A: This is the most common question among clients interested in tinting their eyelashes. Since eyelashes are close to the eyes, it is important to ensure that every procedure done around the eyes are safe.

Q: Are there any Pre Treatment Requirements?

A: Before any lash tinting procedure, you should attend a consultation with the therapist. At least two days before your eyelash tinting treatment, you need to undergo a patch test to ensure there are no allergic reactions or sensitivities to a product. Then, your therapist will recommend the best colour that could fit your skin type and hair colour to produce the best results.

EYEBROW TINTING

Q: What happens during the eyebrow tinting treatment?

A: This is a straight forward, quick and painless procedure using vegetable dye to tint your brows. There are a range of colours for you to choose from to enhance your eyebrows. Your therapist will advise on which colour suits you for the best results.

Important:

A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to treatment. The test involves putting a tiny amount of the mixed dye onto the skin, either on the inside of the elbow or out of sight behind the ear. This is to ensure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients used in the products. If you have had a patch test at another salon you will still need a repeat test, as different brands may cause different reactions?
